ASMA manage and operate the laboratory of public health pests (mosquitoes, rodents, wolves, stray dogs, flies, cockroaches), and, therefore its development in terms of providing the latest operating equipment supplies and consumables. We utilise our expertise and technical personnel equipped with the latest technologies to determine the levels of their sensitivity to the pesticides and poisonous baits used to combat them.

We strive to detect the diseases that can be transmitted to the families from the animals. For instance, we detect mosquito-borne diseases in and out of the houses of the Jeddah governorate according to the general plan of the province.

Additionally, we determine the most appropriate ways to reduce the spread of these pests and prevent the seriousness of diseases that can be transmitted by using information systems. We cooperate with the local health and veterinary departments and specialised international organisations such as “WHO” to provide our service with the highest required performance nationally and internationally.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Our specialists administratively monitor and evaluate the performance of its control programmes using the appropriate performance indicators “KPI”. ASMA conducts scientific and accurate periodic reviews of all the plans and activities currently being implemented. This is to determine the best ways to achieve the project within the highest performance rates required while adhering to the technical terms and conditions.
