ASMA delivers advanced PEMS and CEMS solutions characterised by highly cost-effective and optimum measurements as well as adherence to international standards. While our inventory of solutions encompasses all modes of sampling techniques, our team of experts provides the best-customised solutions to meet clients' individual needs.
ASMA is the sole distributor and agent for the leading brands of CEMS products, Teledyne Instruments of USA (Teledyne Advanced Pollution Instrumentation and Teledyne Monitor Labs). We provide industries with a complete range of CEMS products and services (including integration, training and maintenance) to maintain maximum uptime and full compliance with the corresponding DOE Guidelines.

In 2009, ASMA ventured with CMC Solutions, a leading provider of predictive emission monitoring systems (PEMS). The partnership then successfully kick-started the PEMS project with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to develop PEMS system on their two gas turbine combined cycle units at Tuanku Jaafar Power Plant, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.
PEMS is a cost-effective solution for compliance monitoring. It has been demonstrated to be accurate and highly reliable compared to continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) in independent field tests conducted according to US EPA tests methods and procedures. PEMS was designed to provide advanced and superior emissions monitoring capability and is guaranteed to pass certification testing.
ASMA PEMS products are specifically designed to empower operations to accurately predict process and emissions parameters utilising standard database and networking components.

In line with the DOE requirements on stack testing, the US EPA isokinetic methods are used.
Isokinetic sampling is to extract the contents of the emission with the same flow rate as the flow of the stack. The initial US EPA Methods 1-4 define the conventions utilised to gather the primary information required to perform isokinetic source testing.
This information includes traverse points, stack gas velocity, volumetric flow rate, moisture content, excess air and dry molecular weight of the stack emissions. This data is important for determining nozzle size, sampling flow rate and other parameters required to adhere to isokinetic sampling principles.
